I am suffering a bit with the winter blahs. It is not that bad outside but this time of year I really find it hard to get up off the couch. I want to watch tv, go see a movie or get to bed and sleep. This week I have taken more days off than any week so far. I have not done extra workouts to get back on track, I am just going to be finishing late right now. I will say the plus side of following this program is the commitment. I do feel a bit guilty missing a workout but I know where I left off and where to resume. There is no shame in taking a break as long as you get back to it. The one big accomplishment this week was after 7 weeks of yoga I was able to do the crow pose and hold it for close to 10seconds. I never thought I would be able to do that!
Conversely, with up there is down and the real shame came on Sunday night at my daughter's birthday party where I ate chips, brownies and drank pop. I do not consume that much sugar any more at one time and I felt sick later. The whole time I was doing my workout that evening I thought I was going to be sick.
