Eric Franks, PT, MScPT

Eric is dedicated to helping his clients recover from pain and functional limitations by viewing physiotherapy as a true partnership. He believes that while expert care is essential, clients are the most successful when they are empowered with the tools and education to take charge of their own health. By combining evidence-based manual therapy with graded exercise exposure, Eric works to ensure his clients can overcome barriers and return to the activities that allow them to enjoy life to the fullest.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia in 2023 and earned his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2025. Eric also holds a certification as a Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine.
Eric is well-equipped to address a wide variety of rehabilitation needs, ranging from sports injuries to complex chronic conditions. He has experience in a variety of specialized areas, including pediatric rehabilitation for neurodevelopmental conditions, oncological physiotherapy for cancer-related recovery, and rehabilitative exercise for those with cardiovascular conditions. Additionally, his background as an athletic trainer for rugby clubs has provided him with sharp clinical reasoning skills for managing acute musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries.
Outside of the clinic, Eric lives an active lifestyle that mirrors his professional philosophy. He is an avid mountain biker, hiker, and skier, and spends much of his free time weight training. Eric brings a diverse perspective and a genuine passion for connecting with people from all walks of life.
