Father's Day Gift Ideas

Jun 14, 2017

Father’s Day is a great one to celebrate how much they mean to you and the lives of your little ones. We wanted to offer some of our top suggestions for gift ideas for Father’s Day coming up on June 18.

Massage Gift Certificate
Give Dad the gift of a relaxing massage with one of our Registered Massage Therapists. Massage Gift Certificates are available at all four clinic locations (and our Dynamic and Kensington locations are even open Saturdays).

Compression Stockings
Work and travel can cause our loved ones to spend a lot of time on their feet. To ensure their legs stay healthy, our clinics offer Custom Fit Compression Stockings in a variety of styles and fashions including a microfiber dress sock, merino wool, and a traditional cotton stocking. As well, we offer recovery and performance stockings and calf sleeves to assist their athletic endeavours.

Foam Roller
Active Physio Works offers a variety of foam rollers including a high-density model which can help work out some of the stubborn aches and pains. For optimal use of a foam roller, it’s best to book in with one of our qualified Physiotherapists and have them assess your injury and then go over an exercise treatment plan including the roller. To book an appointment for your loved one, call 780-458-8505.

Prehab Before Rehab
With the summer season in full swing, many of us are hitting the course. While golf is a great way to stay active in the summer months, it can also cause injury due to the repetitive motion of the game. The best way to prevent this is to book in for an appointment with one of our qualified Physiotherapists who can help you strengthen your muscles and avoid injury this summer. For more information on injury prevention in golf, visit Lindsay Wourms, MScPT’s blog here. To book an appointment, call 780-458-8505.
